Altough most of the current surgical techniques are recent developments, people have been performing surgical interventions for the threatmens of various diseases for a long time. As it can be seen from different historical sources and records, surgery has a long history in the world. Moreover, early humans used these interventions to examine what is in the human body rather than to treat people for specific dieases. Modern surgery today is completely a different medical science development. Now we use this science in order to perform very sensitive interventions such as organ transplantation, plastic surgery, artificial organ use, which we were not even aware of its possibility until recently.

Operating rooms are benefitted in the cases of surgical interventions to treat patients.  A strong staff of nurses and technicians performs surgical interventions in this area using the operating table, operating lamp, anesthesia machine, surgical aspirator, electrocautery, surgical hand tools and many different devices specific to the department, under the guidance of surgeons. Altough the surgery itself may seem exciting, there are a lot of unknown and surprising facts about surgeons and operating rooms.

First Fact: Operating Rooms Tend to be Loud 

Operating scenes are usually busy when you watch doctor shows on the TV. Doctors work meticulously on their patients, beeps are heard from behind, indicating that the patient's vital functions are normal, from time to time it is heard that the surgeon asks for another instrument, but other than that, it is filled with silence. These dramatic scenes are perfect for the TV shows. However, operating rooms are mostly as loud as it can be and  surgeons have been known to let their hair down, make jokes with their crew, and even play heavy metal music. This is the fact even it may seem surprising.

The veins and the artery tend to change according to their location and as we look different physical wise, we contain differences inside as well. Human anatomy will teach educate you on basics you need to know. Still, experience is the best option to learn.

When you observe a surgeon at work, you can realize they are spending a significant amount of time on patient’s visceral organs. At the same time, you may also witness they also spend this time for suturing the external surgical wound. This is because patients and family members decide the success level of a surgeon by examining how the suture looks from outside. Of course, a surgeon is willing to be sure at everything is done properly in way that there would be no scars that might be permanent on patient’s body.
